In the first shot that you see, there is a cloud wallpaper along with a wooden floor that looks like it could be a field, this is showing us that this room is like a world for the toys, that is very similar to our world, just smaller. Then woody's boots come into the screen, they only show you the boots, because its cartoon star appeal, you know who it is and they take advantage of that. Then they start to introduce all of the main characters from previous films. Then you cut to a shot of the toys using other toys showing a playful attitude that will be popular among their target audience (kids). Then they play on the classic woody – buzz rivalry that has existed since the first film, thus showing that this film is going to be as good than the others, and give the audience a little reminder of the story. All of the colours used in the trailer a bright and cheerful to show that this film is a happy film that is going to attract the target audience.
